Levi got his first haircut today! (which was long over-due, as you can see in the "pre-pictures" at the salon!!)
(You can also see his three bottom teeth, taking him to a grand total of 5 at this time)
A little apprehensive on the pony and what was to come.

Verdict: He did NOT like getting his hair cut!
We had to abandon the pony and finish the cut in my lap.
We found out the best way to distract him was to feed him some snacks!

A big day for the DiChiaras! Levi got his 1st haircut, and I was going to my Residency Graduation Banquet that night! (I still had 6 weeks left of Residency to make up my maternity-leave time, but this evening marked the official end of "in-patient" care months. That means no more working weekends nor call! The end in sight!!)

This is the 1st of a series of shots that we took in one day. We had 3 different parties to go to on this Saturday. Dustin was really cute and intentionally dressed in a shirt to match Levi's. I love it!
Levi LOVES balls! He'll say "ball" over and over again, and loves tossing it around!
Levi also loves dogs. He's tickled here with one of the Cadora-dogs at Lisa Huffman and Lucie Hoogland's graduation party.

Happy Father's Day!! (6/21/09)Very short, but great video on Father's Day. Dustin is throwing Levi up in the air, as per his usual (Levi loves it!). This video is also sweet because Levi gives me a big, sweet kiss, and says "Bye, Bye" nice and clear for the camera, a few weeks after first saying it.
Uncle Michael comes over, now, on a weekly basis to do all his laundry. 
This is Levi's favorite cabinets to play in while I'm cooking. This evening, apparently I was sleeping post-call on my Cardiology CCU service, and Dustin did some cooking. He let Levi go crazy and he pulled out all the pans and decided to climb on in!
. . . Fun at first, but he got stuck and couldn't figure out how to get out! (I know he's crying here, but I can't help but laugh at this picture!)

Levi really is a pro cruising around now. I just know he's close to walking, but just needs the courage to let go!

Cute pictures! For his next haircut, take him to Cookie Cutters in Eastgate-they have tvs for each child and they can pick a show to watch. Also have cars to sit in so they can't escape as easily!
